History Of The Local Area
As part of their Victorian topic, Year 3/ 4 explored local history around that time. They walked to the Moorfield Mining Colliery memorial where 68 men and boys died following an explosion in 1883. Faith In Transition Workshop
Year 5 and 6 have taken part in a research project run by Blackburn Diocese. The Church of England are keen to find out how our older pupils feel about moving to Secondary School, and their views about being in a Church of England Primary School where Christianity and Faith are important.
