At Altham School we are very proud of the fact that we don’t just concentrate on academic achievement, but on the many areas of importance to the development of each individual child – for example, personal, spiritual, creative, linguistic, musical and sporting. As a small school, with a family feel, we are particularly suited to this. Nevertheless, we are also very proud of our academic achievement and consistently achieve at least national standards in English, Mathematics and Science. As a small school, our results are not published along with those of larger schools. However, once again this year, we have achieved above national average in all areas in our Year 6 Statutory tests.
