The children have been learning about Dame Vivienne Westwood and her efforts to save money and reduce waste. Year 3 and 4 looked at reusing old clothes, dressing up box bits and pieces and old fabric including pillow cases to make a new outfit. They recycled plastic bottle lids to accessorise their outfit. Each child had a clear message linked to climate change. They showed off their designs in a fashion show.
The children also took part in a fabric model workshop lead by British Textile Biennial.
