Altham St James’ is a small, church school much like a family, with a child-centred
approach. We work closely with family, friends and members of the church community to
embed the love of God through living and learning together.

Well done to all Year 5 and 6 pupils who completed the three day Bikeabilty course lead by Go Velo. All pupils started in the school grounds and then most progressed to the roads, achieving levels 1, 2 and 3.

Children were asked to rename their favourite book and explain why they chose this new title. Winners: Annabel, Bryn and Alayna, pictured with our Reading Ambassadors who organised and delivered the competition, and the runners up.

Easter Gardens
As a school we have been preparing for Easter. As well as leading our weekly Lent services, our younger children have been making Easter gardens. Thank you to everyone for all your hard work.
