Weekly Newsletter, 15th July

Dear Parents

Building Learning Power (BLP)

Next week BLP is questioning.

School Lunches

Next week will be week 1 on the menu sheets. The school cook at St Nicholas has asked us to point out that as we approach school holidays she will be running her food stocks down. This will mean that the closer to the end of term we get, the menu may differ from what is printed. Thank you.

Advanced notice…….

  • Monday 18th July – this will be our final after school sports club for this school year. All sports clubs will restart as soon as we return on Monday 5 th September.
  • Wednesday 20th July – Tea and Toddlers in the school hall from 2pm.
  • Thursday 21st July – End of term/leavers breakfast in school 8:15am cost £3, leaflets went home last week, if you did not receive one please see the school office.

Mad Hatters Tea Party

Thank you for all your support for the event last Friday, we raised in total £612.25 after any expenses had been paid. The British Heart Foundation will receive £200 and the remainder will stay in school fund. This will be used to reduce the cost of a trip we have booked for all the children on 16th November to see George’s Marvellous Medicine at Manchester Opera House.

Year 2 & Year 6 workbooks

We are still missing many of the maths study workbooks, unless you bought your own copy, could you please return them to school as soon as possible. Thank you.

Cards for Sale

There is a box of various cards for sale at 50p each, they are in the reception area if anyone want to have a look. Thank you.

Dinner money & Outstanding Debts

Could you please ensure that any outstanding monies for dinner money, guitar or uniform are paid up to date before we close for the Summer break? Thank you.

Leavers Assembly Friday 22nd July

We are aiming to start the assembly at 2pm prompt, parents are welcome to join us and can arrive from 1:45pm. If the assembly finishes earlier than normal closure time and you are here, you are welcome to take your child at the end of the service. Anyone whose parents are not at the service will be supervised until the 3:25pm. Thank you.

Breakfast Club Replies

Please ensure that all replies for a possible breakfast club in September are returned by Monday morning, we will then decided if this will be financially viable. Thank you.

Have a lovely weekend
