Mrs Patterson has asked if anyone has any small boxes for modelling, please bring into school on Monday. Thank you.

Mathematics Study Books

If anyone wishes to order their own copy of the maths study books, they are priced at £2.50 each . Please send your order in by Monday 8th February to have them before the half term break. These books are split into each topic covered in maths and will support the children when completing their homework. They will also be a good guide to parents if you need to help your child. There is just one study book for KS1 and then separate books for years 3-6. Samples are available to view in the school office. Thank you.

Valentines Lucky Square

The Governors fundraising committee are running a Valentine lucky square competion. The squares are on sale for £1 each, there are only 77 available. Prizes include a night in hamper, chocolates and a family pass to Thornton Hall Farm. Please see Mrs Felix on the yard after school or Mrs Kenyon in the office in the mornings.

Hit The Target Sponsor Forms

Please return your sponsor forms by Monday 1st February. Thank you.

The Week Junior

This week our pupils have received the last free copies of The Week. The children have really enjoyed reading this magazine and it is available as a subscription if your child is interested.

School Fund Donations

We have for many years asked for £6 per family per term to support activities in school – and many of you have kindly sent this over the years. This amount has not gone up for many years! We would be very pleased to receive your donation as soon as possible, if you are able. This money goes towards all the extras – such as subsidising school trips and all the little extra treats.

Advanced notice…..

  • At the end of February our school council are holding a blue bag collection. Please start saving your unwanted clothes/shoes/bedding/towels/toys/teddies. No metal, ceramic or sharp items please. A van will be outside school on the day of the collection to weigh any bags brought. We will then be given a cheque dependant on the weight.
  • World Book Day is Thursday March 3rd , we will be dressing up as our favourite book character.
  • Parent’s meeting 21st March 3:30-6:30.

Have a lovely weekend.
