Dear Parents

Building Learning Power (BLP)

This week we are looking at Interdependence (Knowing when to work alone or with others).

Use of School Entrance

Could we please ask, for safety reasons, that you do not use the main gates when arriving or departing from school. Please use the small gate near to the recycle paper cube. Thank you.

Homework Policy

Leaflets have been sent home with all pupils this week regarding the school homework policy. There are spare copies in the school office if you did not receive one or click the link below.

School Dinners

Next week will be week 4 on your menu choices.

Reminder – Reading Workshop

There will be a reading workshop for parents on Wednesday 7 th October at 3.30pm. The aim of the workshop is to provide parents with information on how to help their children with reading at home. If you are unable to attend the meeting, but would like some information, please contact the school or speak to Mrs Bellard who will be leading the meeting.

School Fund Donations

We have for many years asked for £6 per family per term to support activities in school – and many of you have kindly sent this over the years. This amount has not gone up for many years! We would be very pleased to receive your donation as soon as possible, if you are able. This money goes towards all the extras – such as subsidising school trips and all the little extra treats such as Christmas parties!

Information Sheets

Mrs Kenyon would be extremely grateful if anyone who has not yet returned the data collection sheet could do so as soon as possible.

Flora Tubs 4 Tablets

School are registered to collect tokens from special Flora packs on sale at Tesco stores. We need 50 for each tablet. Please send any clean tokens into school as soon as possible, the closing date is 18 th December. Thank you.

Macmillian Cancer Appeal

Coffee and cakes at church last week raised just over £400, thank you to all who supported this .
